Adoptee Advocate-Policy Reform-Storytelling

CS Wright is an adoptee-rights advocate whose work centers belonging, identity, and the lived experiences of intercountry adoptees. Through storytelling, organizing, and policy advocacy, their writing weaves personal narrative with broader political context, challenging dominant adoption stories and uplifting adoptee-led truth-telling that makes space for complexity, grief, resilience, and community.

They serve as the Board Chair of Adoptees United, where they help advance federal adoptee-citizenship legislation, support grassroots organizing, and strengthen collective power across the adoptee diaspora. In all of their work, CS is committed to building a world where adoptees are believed, centered, and free to claim their full histories.
